China broadcast airs Iran director doc

State-run China broadcast CRI has made and aired a documentary on Iranian director Ramtin Lavafipour.

 The doc features director Lavafipour whose new flick ‘Hattrick’ is in competition at the 21st Shanghai International Film Festival in China.

According to a press release, the new flick on show at the event was warmly welcome by the audience members.

A brief synopsis of the film reads, “There is a dull quote which says people do not change overnight, that's us who fail to look at them every so often.”

Notable among the cast of the film are Amir Jadidi, Parinaz Izadyar and Saber Abar.

Shanghai International Film Festival 2018 currently underway in China runs till June 25.
